Kristin’s practice primarily focuses on acquisition and disposition for institutional clients, often involving portfolios of nationwide real estate assets with unique deal structures. Her experience in the field has allowed Kristin to identify and craft practical solutions to substantive issues while assisting clients with the proper risk assessment, often under tight time constraints. Kristin frequently combines her skills in the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases across the retail, industrial, and office categories with her purchase and sale experience to complete sale-leaseback deals for her clients.

Kristin also assists clients with the development of large-scale commercial retail and industrial projects, as well as master planned communities. Those projects often include state and local incentive packages as well as private financing and Kristin is able to assemble and efficiently lead a team of necessary professionals in order to see the project to conclusion.

Kristin has also represented clients in the renewable energy industry, specifically as lender’s and borrower’s counsel in wind energy financing projects. Her work has included the review and analysis of wind energy leases, easements and other landowner agreements to ensure necessary entitlements and compliance with applicable laws.

Kristin’s record of confidently closing acquisitions and dispositions on both large and small scales is a hallmark of her practice, and her clients routinely express their appreciation for her responsiveness, attention to detail, and ability to focus on practical business issues during complicated transactions. Her clients benefit from the inherent organizational and management skills she efficiently uses to lead her team of attorneys and paralegals.

  • Lead seller’s counsel for the sale of three fully-leased industrial buildings spread over 42 acres in California corporate park with a purchase price exceeding $100,000,000.
  • Represented purchaser with the purchase of a 33.5 acre site with approximately 671,000 sf of new construction industrial warehouse space in Nevada.
  • Represented institutional investor client with the following purchases in 2020:
    • dental offices in Texas,
    • automotive repair stores in Ohio
    • two veterinary medical offices in Georgia
    • three medical offices in Massachusetts,
    • two medical office buildings in Georgia
    • a luxury car wash in Alabama
    • dental office and adjacent vacant land in Texas
    • daycare centers in Georgia
    • three quick-service restaurants in Georgia
  • Represented renewable energy company in the development and financing of what is anticipated to be the largest wind project constructed in New Mexico to date, generating 1,050 MW of energy.
  • Assisted developer client with the transfer of 466 acres of land to prepare for development of master planned community in Loveland, Colorado.
  • Represented seller with the sale of iconic Power & Light Building in Kansas City, Missouri.
