Luke Mangan is a trial attorney and shareholder in the firm's Toxic and Mass Tort Litigation practice. With nearly 20 years of experience in the courtroom and over a dozen jury trials, his extensive knowledge in the field of toxic and mass tort litigation helps clients manage complex litigation and take cases to a jury when necessary.

Luke partners with the companies he represents to develop and implement proactive and efficient strategies to help them safely navigate toxic and mass tort litigation in some of the country's most challenging jurisdictions. He is committed to delivering positive results for clients and has significant experience in:
  • All elements of the discovery process
  • Identifying and preparing expert and corporate witnesses for trial testimony
  • Developing and implementing trial and/or settlement strategies
  • Serving as trial counsel in numerous federal and state court jurisdictions for companies involved both product and premises liability litigation
  • Won numerous defense verdicts as national trial counsel for a large Fortune 100 company involved in asbestos litigation.
  • Obtained summary judgment for client based on successor liability defense in more than 300 cases alleging injuries from the alleged failure of coal respirators.
  • Obtained summary judgment based on workers’ compensation defense for client in a $4 million asbestos premises liability case – the first such ruling in Madison County, Ill., courts.
