In addition to drawing upon legal insight and experience, Lauren Pierce applies strong business acumen to understand the goals and challenges clients face.  Clients rely on her not only to counsel them regarding intricate legal matters, but also to proactively understand their businesses and the implications that litigation would have on their operations and profitability.  Lauren draws upon extensive experience in state and federal courts and before arbitrators and mediators, with a focus on defending health care providers against complex claims involving wrongful death and catastrophic injury. She also has a broad range of experience in business litigation and business disputes including:
  • Fiduciary duty claims
  • Professional liability claims
  • Insurance coverage disputes
  • Commercial contract disputes
  • Partnership, shareholder and member disputes
Lauren’s focus is to understand not only the facts and circumstances of the matter at hand, but to understand the specific needs and goals of the client and their unique business considerations. She works with clients that require more than a strong trial lawyer; they expect an attorney who understands the relationship between law and their specific business and who will work tirelessly to protect their rights, interests, and bottom line.
