Lacy Lee is committed to providing client-focused representation to fight for the best results possible. She approaches complex legal issues pragmatically when counseling clients through a wide array of health care litigation matters. She focuses her practice on providing legal advice and strategic counsel to health care providers by working closely with clients’ legal and operational teams. Lacy works with healthcare providers including:

  • Health care systems
  • Skilled nursing facilities
  • Ancillary providers

Lacy represents clients in both Federal and State Court involving healthcare matters. Lacy assists clients with regulatory compliance issues, medical staff services and government investigations, including False Claims Act Litigation.

  • Advises and assists hospitals and other healthcare providers in their efforts to obtain regulatory approvals for new healthcare facilities and services
  • Assists clients with regulatory compliance issues, including assistance with compliance program issues and internal investigations
  • Assists hospitals with Medical Staff Services including Bylaw compliance, credentialing, and disciplinary issues

Health care litigation experience including:

  • Defense of Medicare and Medicaid fraud investigations
  • Defending False Claims Act allegations, investigations and qui tam lawsuits
  • Defense and appeal of Medicaid overpayment and/or alleged fraud issues
  • Cost Report appeals
