Marla Bell combines creativity with sound legal judgment to close complex finance transactions involving commercial real estate on a nationwide basis. She has extensive experience with all types of commercial real estate finance structures, whether first mortgage loan, component notes, or mezzanine financing (and including structures involving tenants in common and Delaware Statutory Trusts) and assets (including retail, multifamily, hotel, condominium, office, industrial, mobile home, self-storage and mixed-use projects). She also assists lenders with financings pursuant to repurchase facilities and secondary market sales and contributing loans to CLOs and CMBS securitizations. She represents lenders with originations of floating rate loans, fixed rate balance sheet loans, CMBS, and C-Pace transactions, as well as asset management. She has advised clients on the development and maintenance of processes, procedures, form loan documents and other loan program issues, including repurchase facilities. Marla understands the business goals and time deadlines of clients and works tirelessly and efficiently to take a proactive approach to help clients meet their objectives.

Represented lender in connection with origination of $229,515,000 mortgage loan financing secured by office park involving future advances for extensive renovations and assisted with contribution to CLO.

Represented lender in connection with a $123,000,000 portfolio loan of multi-family projects including mortgage and mezzanine financing with future advances and assisted with table funding with repurchase facility.

Represented lender in connection with a $105,000,000  mortgage financing of an eleven property multifamily portfolio, including affordable housing and low income housing.

Represented lender in connection with a financing of a ten property portfolio consisting of retail and mixed use projects using one mezzanine tranche and two mortgage level tranches, originated simultaneously, with future funding coming from the mezzanine tranche.

Represented lender in connection with a financing of a portfolio of self storage facilities structured with mortgage and mezzanine financings and multiple component notes and assisted with repurchase facility financing.
