Mike George works with clients that require more than a strong trial lawyer - they want an attorney who understands the relationships between law, technology, and medicine and applies these understandings to protect their rights, interests, and bottom line. Mike is a trial lawyer whose current practice is focused on medical malpractice, as well as general business and liability litigation. He has represented health care organizations, institutions, and professionals in disputes involving technical and complex subject matter.

Prior to joining Polsinelli, Mike defended physicians and physician practice groups in all phases of the dispute, from pre-litigation negotiations through trial. And as a former Assistant District Attorney, Mike prosecuted numerous jury trials including cases involving business fraud and embezzlement – invaluable experience that afforded him first-hand insight into how juries weigh and consider the evidence and issues of a case.

Mike regularly volunteer to help give back to the veterans in his community. He provides direct pro bono legal representation to help resolve legal difficulties that they may encounter and also serves as the Vice-President of the Military Matters committee through which these referrals are processed and matched.

Mike has successfully leverage his unique experience, insight, and skills to obtain cost-effective resolutions in difficult cases.

  • Led defense of health care claim involving near eight-figure demand that ultimately resulted in a six-figure resolution.
  • Led defense of complex litigation involving seven-figure demand that ultimately resolved for less than $100,000.
