Michelle Roman represents borrowers and lenders nationwide as a member of Polsinelli’s real estate finance team. Her practice over the past 20 years has included real estate lending, asset-based lending and conduit lending. Michelle has negotiated, documented, and closed loans secured by shopping centers, office complexes, multifamily residential properties, condominiums and hotels. She has experience in mezzanine and equity financing, syndicated tenant- in-common transactions, CMBS financing, loan servicing and loan sales.
  • Representing a private equity fund in a $175 million 30 property real estate portfolio acquisition and financing.
  • Representing a lender in a $100 million indenture conversion for a utility provider.
  • Counseling the lead lender in a $120 million participated loan secured by personal and real property located in multiple states.
  • Representing an investor in a $1.2 billion syndicated loan secured by company assets.
