As an experienced professional with over 22 years of experience in trade compliance, Matthew provides strategic solutions for companies regarding import and export regulations, international supply chain, procurement support, and global logistics. He has experience working with a wide range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, children's toys and playsets, electronics, lighting, medical equipment, oil and gas, software and telecommunications.

Matthew regularly counsels clients on diverse matters related to trade compliance in multi-agency disclosures, audits, valuation, assists, free trade agreements (i.e. USMCA), import and export documentation and recordkeeping requirements, product classifications for Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), Schedule B, Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) and United States Munitions List (USML) Categories, and licensing determinations under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR). He also leverages his prior experience, both as an ISO Certified Internal Quality Systems Auditor and Lean/Six Sigma Certified Green Belt, to help clients build efficient and effective trade compliance programs with controls that stand up over time.
