As an associate in the Capital Markets and Commercial Lending practice group, Maxwell Jordan is committed to understanding each client’s business needs and brings broad legal experience to each transaction to help advance those needs. Maxwell has significant experience representing issuers and underwriters in connection with CMBS securitizations, including public, agency and private label transactions. He has securitized CMBS loans secured by a variety of asset types, including multifamily, office, retail, hospitality, industrial and assisted living facility properties. Maxwell also has experience with securitizations involving subordinate lien mortgage loans, tax exempt assets, whole loans and SOFR-indexed certificates.

  • Represented a variety of issuers in private, public and agency CMBS transactions involving over $10 billion in issuance.
  • Represented the underwriters in the securitization of a multi-state industrial portfolio that included several hundred individual properties.
  • Represented issuers in multiple Freddie Mac K-Series, Q-Series and M-Series transactions.
