Nathan Grzegorek is an associate in the Financial Services Litigation practice group. Nathan has handled a wide variety of complex cases involving civil litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. In particular, he has extensive experience litigating contested foreclosure actions, as well as other matters involving commercial and residential real estate. Nathan has also represented clients in contract and business disputes. He understands the value of providing practical, cost-effective solutions to clients in a timely manner.

  • Secured affirmance of a trial court order estopping mortgagors from challenging a foreclosure based upon their surrender of the property in bankruptcy
  • Successfully argued that laches may preclude relief from purportedly void foreclosure orders
  • Defeated an effort to overturn a foreclosure judgment premised upon a contention that the borrower lacked authority to convey a lien interest in the subject property
  • Confirmed the validity and enforceability of a mortgage in an action brought by a property owner who asserted claims based upon an equity skimming scheme
  • Resolved litigation involving $2 million in secured claims while obtaining full recovery for the client
