Phil Guttilla is Vice Chair of Polsinelli’s Corporate and Transactional Practice Group and managing partner of the firm’s Phoenix office. Phil is a deal lawyer. Whether it is an M&A transaction with a short timeline or a must close financing, he works with his team to get the deal done. He delivers to his clients what he expects from his team – thought leadership and creative solutions along with a sense of urgency and superior responsiveness. Phil’s clients seek him out as a trusted adviser. He is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) who brings a broad perspective to business transactions of all types. Phil draws on his tax and accounting background and 24+ years of experience to design, implement and close deals and to maximize the value he brings to mergers and acquisitions and other transactions. Phil advises boards of directors on corporate governance matters. He also handles debt and equity financings, commercial contract matters, and investment fund formations.  Phil covers a wide range of industries including health care, real estate, semi-conductor, and technology.
