Philip Jensen partners with clients to develop patent portfolios targeted to each company’s business objectives.

Philip leverages his prior experience as an electrical engineer in a variety of areas, including:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)
  • Wireless Communications and Telecommunications Systems, including 3GPP and 802.x wireless networks, among others.
  • Network security
  • Rf and Microwave communications
  • Integrated circuit design and verification

  • Computer graphics, Augmented Reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR)
  • User interfaces
  • Optics and optical communications
  • Hardware for biotechnology, including as DNA sequencers and protein synthesizers

In addition to the above, Philip has experience with targeted patent prosecution, licensing engagements, litigation support, IP due diligence for funding and acquisitions, and reexaminations.

During law school, Philip worked for a large semiconductor company, and then joined an international law firm in Silicon Valley.  Before attending law school, Philip worked as an electrical engineer with a focus on complex text equipment with applications in communications and IC test
