Randa Barton is committed to understanding the industries in which clients operate and recognizes the nuances of commercial lending. She brings a pragmatic approach towards the business considerations and legal complexities that arise in major transactions. Randa’s ability to bring clarity to complex issues allows her to help clients achieve their business objectives.

Randa’s practice includes handling loan transactions from start to finish, including negotiating, structuring, documenting, and closing all types of commercial loans. Randa works with lenders to service loans, including modifications, workouts, renewals, loan sales, and foreclosure of security interests. She also assists lenders with development and maintenance of policies, procedures, form loan documents, and related loan program issues. Her real estate experience includes commercial leasing of all types of property, including subordination agreements and management agreements for office buildings, restaurants, retail centers, farm and ranch properties, and other income-producing properties.

  • Represented lenders in complex construction loans including medical offices, multiuse retail, industrial, office buildings, and residential developments
  • Represented seller in sale and leaseback of QSRs
  • Represented lender in transaction for acquisition of 200+ properties in Texas by property management company
  • Represented lender in negotiating and documenting letters of credit to secure obligations of self-insured health plan 
  • Represented lender in refinancing multiple hotel properties
  • Represented lenders with regard to SBA 504 and 7a loans
