Ruby Chung is dedicated to providing clients with the quality assistance they need to protect their most valuable asset. She brings a pragmatic approach to business considerations and legal complexities that arise by leveraging her previous experience as a mechanical design engineer. Ruby’s practice includes managing patent portfolios, devising patent prosecution strategies, and drafting patent applications and responses to U.S. Patent Office Actions.

Ruby has represented clients in a variety of fields, including medical devices, software applications, mechanical devices in optics and renewable energy such as wind turbines and solar thermal energy, material science involving physical and chemical vapor deposition, genetic system for treating cancer, and electrical device in amplification and inverter technology. She devised patent prosecution strategy and managed client portfolio for clients both in US and abroad.

Prior to joining Polsinelli, Ruby worked as a patent attorney for a law firm specializing in intellectual property and technology assets. She also worked as a patent agent for the U.S. Patent Office and as a design engineer in the aerospace industry.
