Ryan Mize advises healthcare clients on regulatory, compliance, operational and transactional matters. Ryan has significant experience counseling clients on structuring transactions to ensure compliance with fraud and abuse laws, corporate practice prohibitions, fee-splitting and other regulatory schemes; advising on the transition of licenses, certifications, and accreditations; performing regulatory due diligence; and evaluating the impact of regulatory and compliance concerns on deal terms and post-closing operations. In addition, Ryan regularly assists healthcare providers with compliance and contracting matters that arise in the day-to-day operation of their businesses. 

Ryan's experience includes advising the following types of health care clients:

  • Behavioral health, including residential and outpatient programs, opioid treatment programs, and office-based opioid treatment providers
