Ryan Mize helps health care providers across the continuum of care face an expansive and ever-changing regulatory environment. Drawing on his dual degrees in law and health services administration, Ryan’s practice focuses on providing transactional and regulatory counsel on a variety of issues.

Ryan has specific experience in health care matters that include:

  • Acquisitions
  • Affiliation agreements
  • Joint ventures
  • Professional services agreements
  • Employment agreements for health care clients
  • Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues;
  • Compliance with the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute
  • Facility and professional licensure
  • Accreditation issues

While in law school, Ryan completed an internship with a consortium of children’s hospitals, where he worked on an array of compliance matters and researched strategic development initiatives related to care models, reimbursement, and health reform.
