Rebecca Woodson concentrates her practice in products liability and toxic tort law, with a focus on state (Proposition 65, CEQA) and federal (TSCA, FIFRA) consumer products compliance and enforcement litigation.  She has extensive experience in taking and defending plaintiff, expert witness depositions and arguing motions for summary judgement. Rebecca has first-chaired civil trials, including jury selection and arguing pre-trial motions in limine

Rebecca previously served as a deputy district attorney for the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office, where she brought 22 jury trials and five court trials to verdict, argued over 150 felony preliminary hearings, and successfully argued numerous pre-trial and post-trial motions. 

  • Successfully represented California agricultural commission in establishing specific compliance levels under Proposition 65 for consumer food products.
