Sherin Joharifard Bruning is committed to aggressively representing clients’ needs from case inception through resolution. Whether she is conducting depositions or drafting motions, Sherin strategically approaches every step of the litigation process to ensure a cohesive defense. She represents companies involved in complex business litigation matters, including toxic and mass tort, product liability, and commercial issues, and has exclusively defended clients in litigation since graduating from law school.

Sherin successfully serves clients in all phases of litigation, including written discovery, conducting depositions, and preparing motions. She is goal-oriented and motivated to deliver results, as she has demonstrated by placing first in the Regional Moot Court Competition and placing fourth in the National Moot Court Competition while in law school. Sherin also was selected as a faculty fellow and research assistant to a professor of legal writing and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Colleen Dolan.

  • Served as case managing attorney for hundreds of asbestos cases in Madison County IL, giving client-focused service from case inception through final case evaluation to assist in trial or settlement negotiations. 
  • Represented client interests at hearings in St. Louis City, from routine case management conferences to more substantive motions, developing rapport with opposing counsel and judges and developing trust in the client’s integrity.
