Trip leverages his deep expertise in corporate matters, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures along with his knowledge of emerging growth companies, technology companies, and tech transactions to ensure that the comprehensive technology ecosystem is being supported across the firm consistently and with the highest quality and client service.

  • Represents a major professional engineering, architectural, and consulting firm doing business in all 50 states and overseas, with sales in excess of $300 million that, over an 8 year period, engaged in a roll up of over 40 companies
  • Represents the third largest distributor of drywall and drywall related supplies in the United States, doing business in approximately 35 states and overseas, with sales of approximately $600 million per year. Provides general representation to this client, including, acquisition and merger work, general contract work, lending arrangements, real estate acquisitions, and general counsel work.
  • Represented franchisee in the acquisition of more than 100 Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and Ruby Tuesday restaurants in Texas, involving substantial debt and equity financing.
  • Represented over the years more than 10 Burger King and McDonald's franchises in the metropolitan Kansas City area, undertaking all facets of work from corporate setup to acquisition of the real estate and negotiation of construction and financing contracts.
  • Restructured business operations of hospital-sponsored HMO.
