Polsinelli Expands Real Estate Practice in the Northeast with New Shareholder Barbara Trachtenberg
Polsinelli is pleased to welcome Barbara A. Trachtenberg to the firm’s Boston office as a shareholder in the Real Estate Practice. With more than 20 years of experience, Trachtenberg provides practical, business-oriented solutions in all aspects of real estate transactions and focuses on representing real estate investors in acquisitions, sales, financings, joint ventures, leases, asset management and development. Trachtenberg’s arrival highlights the continued expansion of the firm’s Real Estate Practice with six shareholders joining the group over the last 12 months, most recently with the additions of Marcy Hart, Gary Clarke and Cameron Weil.

Joining Polsinelli from one of the largest global law firms where she previously served as co-vice chair of U.S. Real Estate, Trachtenberg is a trusted advisor to real estate investors and represents an expansive portfolio of clients including developers, institutional investors, REITS, pension funds and investment advisors who invest in diverse asset classes. She has experience in all asset classes, including data centers, offices, hospitality and leisure, multifamily, student housing, self-storage, mixed-use, retail, and life science assets. Trachtenberg also has significant experience advising institutional investors and developers on joint ventures, acquisitions, development and financing.

Trachtenberg earned her J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School and her B.A., cum laude, from Molloy College, is a fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and is ranked Band 1 in the 2024 Chambers USA Guide for Massachusetts.
