Sara Weedman supports the Real Estate and Financial Service practice groups with an emphasis on acquisition and disposition of real property, as well as loan closings. Her responsibilities include reviewing title commitments, ALTA surveys, zoning reports and other documents on behalf of clients to determine any impact they may have on the client’s acquisition and/or proposed use of the real estate. With regards to both disposition of real property and loan closings, she assists clients by drafting documents and coordinating with all parties to effectuate a smooth and successful closing.

Before joining Polsinelli, Sara worked for both the City of Nashville and two private Nashville development firms. She has worked in the legal field for more than 15 years and has a strong background in due diligence and closing coordination. She has assisted in a wide variety of Real Estate matters, including the following:

• Work closely with title company to close $295M construction loan for luxury residential development
• Draft closing documents and track overall status of closing in connection with the disposition of improved commercial, industrial, residential and mixed-use properties
• Review title, survey and zoning reviews, including drafting summary memos and title objection letters, in connection with the acquisition of various commercial, industrial, residential and mixed-use properties
