  • Advised global financial institution in connection with the senior secured financing of up to US$825 million, secured by assets located across 17 foreign jurisdictions across North America, Europe and Asia. Amounts under the revolving credit facility were in US Dollars and Euros. 

  • Advised global credit investment platform on and relating to US$293 million and CAD26 million unitranche term loan credit facilities to a private equity sponsor in connection with an acquisition financing involving US and Canadian entities.

  • Advised global credit investment platform in connection with a US$250 million senior secured second lien term loan facility to a distressed energy company with assets in Central America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia.

  • Advised a private equity and venture capital firm focused on biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics and health care services, on a US$100 million bridge to permanent senior secured term loan facility to a pharmaceutical research and development company based in the Netherlands.

  • Advised a South American shipping company client on a series of asset finance transactions involving the acquisition of cargo vessels delivered in Taiwan by virtue of financing from a French bank, security located in New York and the Isle of Man, and subsequent drawdowns on related revolving credit facilities.

  • Advised a global financial institution in connection with the financing of the acquisition of a portfolio of equipment manufacturers providing advanced oilfield equipment and technology to North American and international customers.

  • Advised a global financial institution financing the acquisition by a private equity sponsor of an American casual dining restaurant chain with assets all over the world.

  • Advised a private equity sponsor on a project finance transaction governed by a suite of senior credit facilities relating to the expansion of an oil refinery in South America.

  • Advised a US commercial bank in structure and mechanics in the purchase of a specialist asset-based lending division of a commercial bank located in the United Kingdom. The sale was part of a deleveraging and divestiture program required by the European Commission following the bank's acceptance of state aid during the financial crisis.

  • Advised a borrower in connection with a GBP850 million syndicated unsecured multi-jurisdictional credit facility.

  • Advised a private equity sponsor in connection with senior secured first and second lien financings for a biotech portfolio company, with collateral located across North America, England and multiple European jurisdictions.
