Before joining Polsinelli, Shelton gained valuable experience as a patent agent and later as an attorney for several national and international law firms. Shelton also clerked for the Honorable Marilyn L. Huff at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. In addition, Shelton examined patent applications at the USPTO, where he developed insights into the review process that he now uses to strengthen client strategies and secure IP protections.
