Varsha focuses her practice on global patent prosecution for pharmaceutical clients, including opinion work, patentability analysis and freedom-to-operate analysis.

Varsha earned her doctorate in chemistry from the University of Connecticut, where her research focused on DNA damage and mutagenesis. She further pursued her research interest and explored the implications of DNA repair in a cancer microenvironment, as a post-doctoral associate at the Mitchell Cancer Institute. Varsha also has a MS in Organic Chemistry from the University of Mumbai, India.

Varsha has gained comprehensive IP experience in a variety of fields and emerging technologies spanning from cancer biology to organic chemistry, including small molecule chemistry, biotechnology/life sciences, medical diagnostics, polymer chemistry, and semi-conductors.
