She actively works to protect clients’ intellectual property by preparing and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications. Prior to working in intellectual property, Warefta worked as a Research Scientist in a biotech start-up, chemicals company, and CDMO. She has also worked as a Patent Engineer at a boutique intellectual property firm where she worked with oil & gas, chemicals, and university clients. She leverages her advanced degree to provide a unique perspective on complex issues in the chemicals, life sciences, and pharmaceutical industries.
