Polsinelli Names William Di Bianca Office Managing Partner in New York

Polsinelli is pleased to announce that Shareholder William (Bill) Di Bianca has been named the new Office Managing Partner of the firm’s New York office. Di Bianca’s appointment comes at a time of strategic expansion for the New York office, which has grown by 15% over the past two years and increased its current office space on Third Avenue to accommodate this growth. Most recently, Polsinelli expanded its New York real estate team with the addition of an eight-attorney group.

“Bill has been a standout shareholder in our Intellectual Property practice, advising clients across industries, from robotics and medical devices to fashion and consumer products. Most importantly, in his time with the firm, he has clearly shown that he brings a collaborative spirit and deep understanding of what makes our firm special,” said Chase Simmons, Chairman & CEO of Polsinelli. “I’m confident he’ll continue to strengthen our presence in the region and foster the kind of culture that drives both client success and team development.”

“I am humbled to be at the helm of Polsinelli’s further expansion and strategic growth in the NYC market,” Di Bianca said. “It is a profound honor to lead such a talented and diverse group of attorneys. Our competitive advantage is the seamless collaboration among our practice groups, translating to premier service and holistic business solutions for our clients.”

Di Bianca’s practice encompasses advising startups to public companies on all aspects of intellectual property law, including patent and trademark procurement, licensing and litigation. He counsels clients across a variety of industries, ranging from cutting-edge technologies like medical devices and robotics to consumer products, fashion, health and wellness. Understanding his clients’ business goals and outlining strategies to achieve them is at the heart of his practice. Di Bianca earned his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law and his B.S., cum laude, from Boston University.
