Xiaoyu Tan supports the health care practice with an emphasis on medical record and related literature review. His responsibilities include reviewing, analyzing and summarizing medical records and related scientific literatures, drafting medical record summaries and chronologies, assisting attorneys with expert witness location, evaluation and preparation and other department support.

Before joining Polsinelli, Xiaoyu worked as a researcher at an academic medical center and then as a medical analyst. He has been in the legal field for more than 10 years and has a strong medical and research background. He assisted in several medical malpractice matters.
