Albert del Castillo, Jr. guides high-net-worth individuals, family offices and closely held businesses through the tax and estate planning issues that shape long-term preservation. He works on trust and succession matters, multigenerational planning and the personal tax questions that surface when assets or family structures cross borders.
Drawing on a strong foundation in U.S. and international tax law, Albert also counsels foreign and domestic companies on income tax planning, transactional structuring, corporate tax matters and the acquisition and sale of U.S. real estate. His experience includes voluntary disclosures, tax controversy and compliance matters, offering strategic guidance to both private clients and institutions navigating U.S. tax obligations.
Before joining Polsinelli, Albert was a partner at another law firm. He previously served in the transaction tax group of a Big Four accounting firm, where he advised corporate and private equity clients on a broad range of transactional tax matters. He is also a New York Certified Public Accountant.
