Alexander D. Boyd is a shareholder in Polsinelli's national Technology Transactions and Data Privacy practice. Alex leverages his experience as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and as a litigator to lead organizations in responding to data security incidents and complying with state, national, and international data privacy and cybersecurity regulations. Alex consistently works with leading cyber insurers and forensic security firms to investigate every type of data security incident and to provide his clients time-sensitive, practical advice during all stages of an incident.
Alex assists organizations in responding to regulatory investigations opened by state attorneys general, the Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights, the National Credit Union Administration, the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or other state or federal enforcement agencies.
Alex’s practice also focuses on providing proactive, pre-breach data privacy advice and drafting and negotiating licensing agreements, terms of service, and other technology-based transactions. Alex coordinates with attorneys in Polsinelli’s leading health care, financial services, litigation, and intellectual property practices to provide his clients with seamless, comprehensive legal advice.
