Alina is a problem solver who is willing and able to find creative solutions to clients’ issues. She is a skilled commercial litigator with a wide variety of experience involving financial services. She represents loan servicers, special servicers and lenders in state, federal and appellate courts in litigation involving commercial mortgage-backed securities and commercial loan enforcement, UCC sales and enforcement of creditors’ rights in bankruptcy court.
She provides guidance to clients regarding state and federal regulations related to mortgage lending, loan servicing, title defects, debt collection, credit card surcharges and compliance with Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Truth in Lending act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Practices Act (RESPA), Unfair, Deceptive, Abusive Acts or Practices Act (UDAAP), Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA).
Alina previously served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Bronx District Attorney’s Office. She has also held numerous legal and judicial internships and externships throughout New York and New Jersey courts and state agencies.
