Tony Porcelli is a former general counsel, experienced trial lawyer and problem solver who represents clients in complex commercial, health care and bankruptcy litigation. He advises clients across industries and works closely with in-house counsel, corporate officers and boards of directors to achieve business-aligned outcomes efficiently and cost-effectively.

As former general counsel of a global real estate investment management company, Tony built and managed a legal department; oversaw strategic initiatives, acquisitions and divestitures; directed outside counsel on myriad matters; handled all executive employment and separation negotiations/agreements; and strengthened corporate governance and compliance procedures. He leverages this valuable in-house perspective to provide practical, business-focused litigation strategy to better serve his clients.               

With more than 30 years of experience, Tony is a proven leader who has managed large, multi-disciplinary trial teams and developed trial, discovery and settlement strategies aligned with client objectives. He has represented domestic and international clients ranging from closely-held businesses to Fortune 500 companies in disputes involving claims from under $1 million to more than $700 million.

Tony has significant mediation and arbitration experience and advises clients during transactions to assess litigation risk and avoid future disputes. He also serves as lead litigation counsel for debtors and creditors in Chapter 11 proceedings, including valuation and plan confirmation litigation.
