  • Represented a private investment firm in connection with the $253 million acquisition of a data center campus in the southeastern United States from a joint venture of institutional investors. The property includes approximately 38 acres and a 185,000-square-foot data center with more than 15 MW of existing capacity and major financial services and AI cloud tenants. Our work included negotiation of the acquisition joint venture, financing of the transaction with a $140.5 million acquisition loan, and counsel on expansion plans involving additional capacity and a proposed 66,000-square-foot facility expansion to support future power demand.
  • Represented a private equity investor in the formation of a co-GP for the purpose of acquiring, redeveloping and leasing a data center asset. Represented the joint venture in a ground lease and purchase option of the existing property, construction contracts for the $400+ million redevelopment, construction financing for the redevelopment and lease with the end-user of the project.
  • Represented a $9 billion pension-held REIT in joint ventures, acquisitions and financings of office, retail, multi-family and self-storage data center properties in major money markets.
  • Represented The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in a joint venture for the ownership of One World Trade Center and related projects at the World Trade Center.
  • Represented the purchaser of three life science buildings in South San Francisco valued in excess of $1 billion.
  • Represented an institutional investor in a joint venture and the $700+ million acquisition of a data center in Sterling, VA and associated CMBS financing.
  • Led the legal team in the structuring of an initial public offering for an UPREIT.
  • Negotiated transactions on behalf of owners for the lease and operation of Observation Decks.
  • Represented the borrower in a $287 million construction loan for the development of two office buildings.
  • Represented landlord in the negotiation of a 300,000 square foot office lease in downtown Boston.
  • Negotiated data center, office, industrial and retail leases on behalf of landlords in New York, California, Texas, Illinois and Massachusetts.
