Benjamin J. Sodey is an experienced patent attorney with over 20 years’ experience in counseling and representing employers and clients in biotechnology and pharmaceutical intellectual property matters. He is skilled in IP strategy, patent drafting and prosecution, global patent portfolio management, patent licensing, patent litigation and administrative proceedings, and media/communications strategies.
Benjamin has extensive experience with genome editing and cell therapies using clustered regularly interspersed short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated (Cas) (CRISPR/Cas) systems and other genome editing techniques, as well as with small and large-molecule pharmaceuticals.
