Brandon Drea advises private equity funds and privately held companies on a broad range of corporate transactions and governance matters. His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, debt and equity financings, corporate restructurings, entity formation and corporate governance.

Brandon represents clients in buy-side and sell-side acquisitions across a variety of industries, including financial services, health care, manufacturing, software and technology. He also advises clients on limited liability company governance, regularly drafting and negotiating operating agreements and helping structure joint ventures and other business arrangements to align governance and economic interests.

In addition to his corporate practice, Brandon regularly advises clients on various entertainment-related matters and helps structure and implement a wide variety of transactions within the entertainment industry. He has represented talent in the theatre, film and television industries, negotiating employment agreements for industry executives, publishing agreements for authors, shopping and option agreements for screenwriters, and non-theatrical distribution agreements for distributors. Brandon has worked with global talent and branding agencies that represent over $950 million in contracts and have garnered numerous Academy Awards, Golden Globes, Emmy Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, Tony Awards and Grammy Awards. 

Brandon is also active in the legal community, acting as a guest speaker and lecturer at Brown University, New York University, the Arizona State University Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law and the Pace University Elizabeth Haub School of Law.
