Brandon is a proven leader in the field of public finance, focusing primarily on nonprofit senior living, health care and affordable housing transactions. He has served as borrower, underwriter, bank and bond counsel for a wide variety of tax-exempt and taxable financings, including:
- Borrower’s counsel to nonprofit senior living providers, regional and national health care systems, private K-12 schools and higher education providers, and other mission-driven clients engaged in publicly offered and privately placed conduit financings
- Bank and institutional investor counsel for purchases of tax-exempt and taxable bonds associated with 4% low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) projects
- Bank counsel for purchases of municipal bond offerings from state and local governments, special purpose districts, and conduit issuers
- Underwriter counsel for nonprofit health care financings ranging from single site hospitals to large multistate systems
- Bond counsel to conduit statewide health care agencies, counties, cities and special purpose districts
Brandon has significant experience in secondary market transactions such as tax-exempt portfolio purchases and structuring of participation arrangements.
