James (Jim) Barnett assists clients with complex commercial real estate transactions, including purchase, sale, leasing, and financing transactions involving office, retail, hotel, marina, industrial and multifamily properties. Jim implements comprehensive, business-centric strategies to construct legal solutions and corporate transactions that solve clients’ business goals. Jim also assists clients with loan workouts, foreclosures and deeds in lieu transactions and related receivership work. Jim regularly represents private investment funds, individual investors, developers, and banks in connection with a variety of real estate investments.
