Jeffrey J. Zissa is a shareholder in the Real Estate Department and has been practicing real estate law since 1989. His practice involves a variety of commercial real estate transactions with an emphasis on real estate finance. He has closed hundreds of transactions in all 50 states. Jeffrey represents lenders with all types of commercial real estate financing transactions involving all types of assets.
He has focused on the origination of senior mortgage loans intended for securitization and mezzanine financing, and he closes transactions for lenders' construction lending programs and EB-5 lending programs. In addition to real estate finance, Jeffrey’s commercial real estate background involves representation of developers,servicers and investors in buying, managing, operating, and selling commercial and retail real estate projects. His experience spans all aspects of complex commercial real estate and mortgage transactions on a national scale, involving virtually every product line.
