John Robert focuses his practice on corporate and international tax matters. He has substantial experience in structuring corporate mergers and dispositions, spin-offs, liquidations and cross-border transfers and has advised on a number of high-profile M&A transactions. John regularly assists clients with negotiating, documenting, facilitating and consummating transactions involving partnerships, corporations and off-shore entities. He has also assisted clients in obtaining private letter rulings from the Internal Revenue Service.
While in law school, John was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and served as a faculty research assistant.
