Kevin Davis’ practice focuses on a wide range of intellectual property matters, including IP litigation, patent prosecution and strategic IP counseling. He has experience across diverse technologies including artificial intelligence, consumer products, medical devices, financial services and business methods.
Kevin is well versed in all phases of IP litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery and motion practice, and analyzing patent infringement and invalidity. He has trial experience in multiple U.S. District Courts, including arguing before the District of Delaware in a complex patent litigation suit involving medical devices.
Kevin has significant experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications and participating in proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), including reexaminations and inter partes review (IPR) challenges. He’s seen innovations through the patent process, from initial filings through issuance. His technical background and legal acumen enable him to craft strong, enforceable patents that anticipate and address potential challenges.
Prior to joining Polsinelli, Kevin gained valuable hands-on experience at boutique intellectual property firms.
