Mark advises on matters involving the Internal Revenue Service and has provided guidance on matters involving the Office of the Inspector General and the Department of Health and Human Services (including CMS), as well as state licensing and regulatory bodies. Mark focuses on developing and implementing alignment strategies involving hospitals and health systems, post-acute care providers and physician organizations. Mark has led many public and private company transactions, including those involving private equity, and brings strategic industry knowledge and problem solving capabilities to each project.
