Megan Gies is committed to understanding the industry in which each client operates. As an associate in the Real Estate and Real Estate Finance practices, clients rely on her to analyze and develop responses to financial, transactional and development-related real estate matters.
Working closely with seasoned Polsinelli attorneys in the Real Estate and Real Estate Finance practices, Megan helps to deliver a range of legal services during the life cycle of a real estate transaction – from letters of intent, all the way through contract negotiation, due diligence, financing, and closing. By conducting thorough and efficient due diligence, she is able to identify and address potential complications that clients might encounter during the transaction process.
Megan also represents developers and investors in the creation and operation of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, with an emphasis on condominiums and planned communities, which are governed by the Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act.
Megan also represents lenders and servicers in all aspects of multi-state and multi-layered secured lending transactions, including preparing and negotiating loan documents and providing lender due diligence.
