Mike George is a trial lawyer who focuses his practice on medical malpractice defense and complex business and liability litigation. He represents health care organizations, institutions and professionals in disputes involving technical and medically complex issues, combining an understanding of law, technology and medicine to protect his clients’ interests.

Mike has substantial experience defending physicians and physician practice groups through all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation evaluation and negotiations through trial. He works closely with health care clients to assess risk, develop defense strategies and navigate high-exposure claims involving professional liability and related business disputes. He successfully leverages his unique experience, insight and skills to obtain cost-effective resolutions in difficult cases.

Before entering private practice, Mike served as an Assistant District Attorney, where he prosecuted numerous jury trials, including cases involving business fraud and embezzlement. This experience provides him with valuable insight into trial strategy, evidentiary presentation and how juries evaluate complex factual and legal issues.

In addition to his legal practice, Mike has been involved in serving veterans in his community. As former president of the Military Matters Committee, he provided pro bono legal representation to veterans facing legal challenges, helping coordinate and match veterans with legal assistance.
