Michael Rosenthal strives to be more than “just a lawyer,” but instead a valued member of the business team. Mike’s approach is to partner with clients to gain a better understanding of what makes each client unique, allowing him to structure, pursue and close deals tailored to meet their business strategies and objectives both in the US and across the globe.

In representing growing companies, and their entrepreneurs and investors, Mike is a resource to his clients as they develop their financing and growth strategies both in the US and offshore. He assists them with issues around capital raising, employee equity compensation, commercial contracting and corporate governance. Mike helps clients effectively navigate M&A and financing transactions in a way that ultimately strengthens the relationship between the parties, while still protecting a client’s vital interests. Mike guides his clients at all stages structuring joint ventures, roll-ups and other acquisitions, as well as helping plan for and consummate sale and other exit transactions. He draws on his creativity to find solutions to issues which might otherwise be "deal-killers."

Mike has leveraged his experience into the real estate industry, as the real estate industry continues to evolve and real estate businesses diversify. Working in coordination with Polsinelli’s real estate team, Mike leads a team of Polsinelli corporate lawyers, with real estate industry knowledge in assisting growing real estate businesses in corporate structuring, joint venture formation and their growth and capital strategies. Mike and his team have closed over $1 billion of M&A, joint venture and investment transactions in real estate businesses over the past several years.
