Nora Jackson supports the corporate practice with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and tax reorganizations. Her responsibilities include legal research and investigation, preparation of corporate and tax documents related to mergers and reorganizations, asset and stock purchase transactions, acquisitions, entity formations, conversions and dissolutions and other departmental support.
Before joining Polsinelli, Nora worked as paralegal in Des Moines, Iowa, Minneapolis, Minnesota and Overland Park, Kansas. She has been in the legal field for more than 35 years and has a strong corporate background. She has assisted in several private equity backed acquisition matters, including many for professional services and health care companies, opportunity zone and real estate development transactions, tax reorganizations and cybersecurity deals. She assists in the formation of profit and nonprofit businesses, including corporations, professional corporation limited liability companies, professional limited liability companies, limited partnerships and general partnerships. She frequently assists entities and/or independent owners in the various stages of formation, growth, contractual work, compensation agreements, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements as well as buy/sell and owner agreements.
