Dayna LaPlante works with clients who benefit from her diligence, enthusiasm and strong grasp of the complex health care legal sector. She counsels a range of health care providers in fraud and abuse and other compliance matters.  Specifically, Dayna works closely with clients to navigate and resolve civil and criminal government investigations as well as internal compliance investigations.  Should litigation arise with government or private parties, Dayna also represents clients throughout the pendency of a case until resolution. 

Dayna is knowledgeable in several areas of federal and state health care laws, including:
  • Federal Anti-Kickback Statute and False Claims Act;
  • State fraud and abuse laws;
  • HIPAA and state privacy laws; and,
  • Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement regulations.
