• Represent a U.S. real estate investment company based with respect to nationwide leasing matters for office and industrial assets.
• Serve as outside general counsel for a privately held commercial real estate investment and development company in the leasing of commercial real estate to well-known national retail and service brands.
• Represented a D.C.-based real estate firm, as landlord, in connection with leasing activity for a 3.8 million-square-foot portfolio consisting of 10 commercial office properties throughout Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., and Texas.
• Represented the owner of a regional mixed-use development in connection with more than 50 new leases and amending existing leases for a prominent historic outdoor shopping district in Kansas City, Missouri.
• Represent an industrial property owner with respect to leasing of 2.2+ million square-foot industrial portfolio in Colorado and Utah.

Specialized & Complex Leasing

• Represent an institutional investor in data center leasing and co-location agreements throughout the U.S., including hyperscaler NNN leases.
• Represented the General Theological Seminary in a landmark 99-year ground lease of a full city block in Chelsea to Vanderbilt University, enabling the university’s first-ever campus in New York City. Representation included negotiating letter of intent, lease structuring, regulatory coordination and closing.
• Represented a private equity firm in the lease-up and disposition of a five-story mixed-use office and retail in Boston, Massachusetts, for $101 million.
