Rick Miltimore enjoys helping clients find solutions to complex real estate matters. He advises developers, investors and owners on real estate projects throughout the country. His practice spans the acquisition, disposition and development of commercial properties including mixed-use projects, multifamily and student housing communities, industrial assets and large institutional portfolios. Rick also represents clients in a wide range of leasing matters, negotiating office, medical, laboratory, retail and data center leases, as well as ground and master lease structures that support long-term development strategies. He regularly assists clients in navigating land use considerations and coordinating the legal components of large-scale residential and commercial projects.

He is also experienced in real estate finance matters, where he frequently represents lenders and borrowers in real estate loan originations, refinancings and mortgage lending involving major commercial assets and multistate portfolios. He regularly works on syndicated credit facilities and high-value financing transactions secured by mixed-use districts, industrial properties and large-scale development sites. His experience spans both single-asset and portfolio financings and includes advising on national lending platforms with significant real estate components.

Rick also regularly counsels clients in the formation of real estate joint ventures and equity relationships that structure major development initiatives. His work includes advising on community-focused redevelopments, high-density residential projects and multistate real estate platforms with interconnected entitlement, construction and operational considerations.
