Rob Koonin helps lead Polsinelli’s New York Real Estate Practice, working collaboratively with approximately 350 real estate and finance lawyers in two dozen offices across the United States. Rob handles the purchase, sale, financing, leasing and development of real estate in various sectors, including health care, multifamily, senior living, industrial, office, self-storage and retail. Rob advises lenders and investors at all levels of the capital stack on senior and mezzanine loans and preferred equity and debt investments, covering a broad range of projects across virtually all asset classes.
Rob’s clients include some of the nation’s largest banks, family offices, PE funds, senior living operators, and real estate owners and developers.
Sports and Hospitality
Over the course of his career, Rob has also handled and been deeply involved with: the development of professional sports stadiums; the acquisition of sports teams or other minority interest investments; the construction of luxury golf and hotel projects; the purchase or sale of hotels and other hospitality properties; and the representation of sports leagues and high-profile athletes in a wide array of real estate and business-related ventures.
Prior to joining Polsinelli, Rob helped lead the U.S. Real Estate Practice at another national law firm.
