Scott leverages his background and knowledge of regulatory and industry matters in the healthcare and financial services industries to advise regarding complex transactional and regulatory matters.
Technology Transactions
His practice primarily focuses on drafting and negotiation of large-scale software and data licensing agreements, as well as managed IT services and software development agreements. Scott’s clients include several of the nation’s largest healthcare systems, as well as leading financial services organizations and private equity-backed startups in industries such as healthcare, information security and Fintech.
Data Privacy
Scott also leverages his industry and regulatory experience to assist clients navigate difficult issues relating to data collection and use in connection with their product development efforts and negotiations with their vendors and customers, in particular advising on issues relating to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (GLBA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
