Polsinelli recently represented Amedisys, Inc., a leading provider of home health and hospice care, in its $3.3 billion sale to UnitedHealth Group’s Optum, a leading information and technology-enabled health services business. Polsinelli served as health care regulatory counsel and effectuated the transfer of over 500 home health and hospice locations.  

This strategic transaction combines Amedisys’ home health, hospice and high-acuity care services with Optum’s extensive value-based care capabilities.
