Spencer Culver is devoted to improving the reliability of the energy system through the development of a diversity of sources at an affordable price. He counsels renewable energy companies on the development of projects and how to navigate the nuanced business and legal issues in the contemporary regulatory environment.

Before attending law school, Spencer was a nationally competitive debater at the University of Wyoming. At the University of Iowa College of Law, he researched electric transmission development and integrated resource planning for electric utilities, and he was the recipient of the Hubbell Award for Excellence in Environmental Law.
